Valguero overview
Valguero is easiest to farm when you treat it as three separate zones: chalk hills for repeatable metal and supply-drop routes, the aberration trench for gems and high-risk specialty resources, and cave systems for oil, crystal, and fast midgame progression. Bring an Argentavis or Rhyniognatha for hauling, then swap to hazard gear or glider mobility when you push into the trench.
White Cliffs
Strong midgame zone for metal runs, high-tier drops, and travel lanes around the chalk hills.
Aberration Trench
Best place for gems and specialty harvests, but radiation and vertical terrain punish slow recovery routes.
Oil Cave Corridor
High-value route when you need oil, black pearls, and a nearby defensible cave system.

Chalk hills metal loop
Run Highlands Ridge (51.6, 38.0) into Chalk Hills (57.7, 34.7), then finish at the White Cliff drop lane (54.3, 35.4). This is the safest repeat metal path when you want ore plus a chance at quality loot.
Oil cave and pearls loop
Start at Oil Cave (49.1, 19.5), sweep nearby water access, then rotate east only if you already have a safe extraction plan. This route is efficient for midgame generators and industrial prep.
Aberration trench prep loop
Stage at The Lair Cave (73.1, 40.6), move through the trench with hazard gear, and exit before weight stalls your mount. Treat this as a surgical run, not an everything-at-once haul.

Caves, drops, and hazards
Aberration trench: bring hazard gear, grapples, and an exit route before chasing gems or side caves.
White Cliffs: strong for high-tier drop rotations, but cliff navigation punishes overweight routes.
